• Creative expression: The use of art offers a non-verbal way to express feelings, especially for participants who may struggle with articulating their emotions. 
• Turn-Taking:

  By taking part in board games together participants will learn turn-taking, managing emotions if they lose and social cues.

• Self-Reliance: Through making their own pizzas the participants will learn a valuable skill, learn how to share, cook and clean up. Another great social activity where they can compare their likes and dislikes.
• Mindfulness practices: Each session will begin or end with a short mindfulness activity to help participants stay grounded, manage anxiety, and enhance emotional regulation.

We welcome young people aged 8-12years (groups include similar-age peers) who experience challenges feeling confident in social situations.

No, we do not require a referral.

The fee for each session is $77. Please be aware that the full fee is non-refundable within 7 days of the group start date.

• NDIS participants may be able to claim the cost against their NDIS plan, depending on their plan goals and funding allocation. It is a Capacity Building Support related to Improved Daily Living.
• Private health insurers may offer a rebate. We recommend you check with your insurer to confirm.
• If you have a GP referral for anxiety it may fall under group therapy
