REFERRAL & MEDICARE CLAIMING
To receive a Medicare rebate with a psychologist or accredited mental health social worker clients need a Mental Health Care Plan or Eating Disorder Plan from their GP, if eligible.
We do our best to monitor the amount of sessions clients have had and send reminders when clients require a MHCP/EDP review. Although the responsibility remains with the client to ensure the referral is up to date, in order to receive rebates.
Registered Psychologist rebates for 51 minute consultations are $96.65. Accredited mental health social worker rebates for 51 minutes consultations are $85.20.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE CLAIMING
We are unable to process private health insurance claims and therefore clients must pay in full and then submit a claim themselves with their fund. Please note clients cannot claim through Medicare and Private Health Insurance at the same time.
NDIS CLAIMING
If you are plan-managed we will send the invoice to your plan management for payment. Self-managed patients need to pay at the end of your consultation.
